| AIUTODIRETTO - AFRICA MUST GROW PROJECTS |
|
 |
| ACTIONS
1. TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY PROJECTS FOR KINDER-GARDENS
There are few pre-schools in the country and less in the remote areas.
Only about 30% of children of age-group 3-6 years have access to a nursery or kindergarten education before entering the formal school. Pre-school education is compulsory for two years.
The role of AIUTO DIRETTO
Early childhood education lays the foundation for life-long learning and whole person development. The core value of early childhood education lies in “child-centredness”. A diversified learning environment that provides sufficient learning opportunities will facilitate children to develop their multiple intelligences.
First Phase: to complete the building, shaped on simple model ;
Second Phase: to support the activity: employing community resources such as retired teachers.
2. TO RAISE THE EDUCATIONAL STANDARD FOR STUDENTS by promoting
- supportive courses during school
- preliminary courses during and after secondary schools
SUPPORTIVE COURSES
Attendance to the school does not mean always good understanding or performances, due to many factors.
Most of the students underprivileged live in an environment with few cultural stimulation and support.
Some of them may have some difficulty in understanding and learning some of the subjects.
These students may need some support to gain parity with any other.
Supportive course are meant for them, to give these students the opportunity to be at the same level of education when completing their courses, and being ready to face the following steps, either in the employment sector or in the high level education, when chosen.
PRELIMINARY COURSES
As the link between the objectives of the secondary school and the real needs of the work market is represented by the school leaver capacity, it falls as an obvious consideration that the hub to be built and strengthened is the quality of student training.
AIUTO DIRETTO has as a main objective to produce human resources capable to face the challenges of the market requirements.
A general introductory Course preparing for University Admission
Specific courses to prepare the students to enter into the market.
UPDATING, UPGRADING AND UNDERGRADUATE COURSES
School leavers may leave the school with a good grade but not be able to meet the market requirements.
In the economy of a society thee market is made by employers offering vacancies and by self employment.
In both cases the tools to be used are the good knowledge of what you are called to face. |

EASY ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE FACILITIES
Telemedicine refers to the use of communications and information technologies for the delivery of clinical care.
AIUTO DIRETTO mission is to remove the geographical barriers
- between health services and the people and
- between health facilities and specialists by
promoting telemedicine solutions that enhance access and quality of health care in a rural areas of the Country.
Telemedicine is a rapidly developing application of clinical medicine where medical information is transferred via telephone and the Internet for the purpose of
- consulting,
- performing medical examinations and sometimes, in an advanced setting,
- also perform medical procedures.
Telemedicine is going to change the way health care and education is delivered in remote areas of Ghana by bringing patients and health providers face-to-face, whether they are many kilometers apart or just around the corner.
AIUTO DIRETTO TARGETS
The fields we want to concentrate on are:
- Tele radiology
- Tele ecography
- Tele general medicine
- Tele dermatology
- Tele education-Tele conferencing
One end will be at the District Hospital or at a nearby place, where our Technicians will be the first station for collection of data.
