Marco Aiolfi is a strategist working with the Fixed Income Trading and Research Group at a hedge fund in the New York area.

Marco received a B.A. in Economics, Statistics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University in Milan in 1999, and a Ph.D in Economics also from Bocconi University in 2006. He has been visiting the Department of Economics at UC San Diego, from 2002 to 2004, and the Rady School of Management also at UC San Diego from 2005 until 2006 under the supervision of Allan Timmermann.. During his post-graduate work Marco has also been invited as a Visiting Scholar in the Research Department of the International Monetary Fund.

His research interests include Finance, Econometrics, and Applied Macroeconomics.
