Gospel in Italy, yesterday and today
For a short history of missionary work accomplished in Italy, click here: Short history of Baptist missionary work in Italy I often get asked how many churches/missionaries are present in Italy. To help in your understanding of the Gospel activity in Italy, I have decided to make a "general" breakdown of the missionary activity in Italy, according to some mission boards. Of course the list is incomplete, and will always be so, as I do not know everyone or of all the mission boards. This is just to give a "general" idea of the Gospel influence in Italy. As I become aware of others, I will update the information. Mission boards represented in Italy and number of missionary families or singles are: - Association of Baptists for

This is a particular kind of home-made pasta prepared by kneading only flour and water. The work is quite laborious as you must shape the dough into long spaghetti. For 6 persons mix together 600 gms. of flour and enough water to obtain a solid dough. Knead it for long, then take a piece of it at a time and roll it with your hands until you get a long spaghetto. If you have the proper tool the preparation will be easier. Then leave the so obtained pasta to dry for some hours. The usual seasoning is olive-oil fried lightly with some cloves of garlic. If you like, you can add also 500 gms. of ripe tomatoes, peeled and cut into pieces. Leave the tomatoes to thicken a little, then season the pasta cooked to firm to the bite. Sprinkle it over with abundant grated Parmesan cheese.
