| About us... | ||||||||
We are two good friends, Andrea (43) and Johnny (52), sharing the same hobby and many common interests. Both of us are Radio Amateurs (IW9HJV and IW9ARO, respectively), and this is the main "fuel" that give us motivation and good ideas for projects discussion and proposition. Besides ham radio and electronics, we also share other interests like sailing, music (guitar, keyboards), photography, and how to deal with our respective wives and children... We both have a degree, Andrea as a Physicist while Johnny as an Electronic Engineer. We met years ago as we work in the same company. We live in Catania (near the Etna volcano) in the eastern area of Sicily island (Italy). In the late few years, taking advantage of our complementary technical background and skills, we managed to develop some common projects that were helpful for our radio shacks and electronic instrumentation. Then we took decision to put our project on the Web to share them with other people, hoping that what we place here is interesting also for you. This website is continuously (even if slowly!) updated as we intend to publish a new project every time we succeed to "close" one. So visit us from time to time as you may catch something cool for you. We are also pleased to get any feedback and/or comment about these
pages, so feel free to drop few words at Yours sincerely, Andrea and Johnny.
