Ain’t life grand?!
We tend to think it
especially when a new SLASH’s record is about to be released!!!!!!!
And we can’t wait for it
right????
Well this is what we were able to do to give u a better idea of what
u’re gonna buy on October the tenth, some live short samples from different
shows!!!
Be sure u’ll be even more
excited after listening to them!!!!!!! They’re brief so take your time to
download them!
Let’s start with “Been there lately” the first
song of the record, it is about life in
Second one is “Just like anything”, once
only named “anything”…
The third one is “Shine” which we personally think is one
of the best songs of the record!!! SLASH said it was hard to finish this song
because it wasn’t easy to play, he was about to give up but then he thought
“when I could play perfectly, it would be a killer song” and we thank you SLASH for working on it … it
was worth to work hard!!!!!!
The fourth one is “Mean bone” a funny song about ladies
treating rock n’ roll stars very bad… what about how do they treat their
women???
Then we have “Back
to the moment” or “Break you” as it was called before, created by the
cooperation between Rod and Ryan, thanks guys!!!!!!! We love this sentimental
tune!
“Life’s a sweet drug” comes
at number 6, we don’t know much about this song, but it’s a great
one!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cool powerful riff!
The seventh couldn’t be but “Serial killer” previously
“serial killer # 7”!!! Rod and SLASH worked together on this one very
particular, cute song!!!! According with what we’ve read the lyric of this song
was inspired by a friend of Rod who killed his girlfriend under drugs effect.
Then we have “The truth”,
SLASH said the riff has been in his head for a long time, then Rod and the
producer (Jack) wrote the words. Sorry no sample for this song.
The ninth song is “Landslide”, this one came out from
a Matt’s idea, he plays guitar on that one!
Then we have “Ain’t life grand” originally
written by SLASH for Les Paul, again this one is a surprise!!!! U wouldn’t
expect it in a SLASH’s record! But u’ll love it!
“Speed parade” instead is in a
typical SLASH style! After all it was
already into his viper pinball machine!
And the last one! “The
Alien”, from Matt again! Great song!!!!!!!!
But no sample of this one
too…
Hey! This is not the end…my
friend… in fact for Japanese fans there will be 2 more songs!!!! And 2 more
songs are worth another cd right?
“Rusted heroes” is a good one!!!
And the other one… a complete
surprise!!!!!!
It is called “Something about
your love” and Rod plays acoustic guitar on that one! We’re again damn
curious!!!!!!!
We know u’re looking for the
lyrics also right???
Here u are all of them!!!
