My meeting with Sean

The weekend at Astoria was one of the more beautiful of my
life. All you have been great! There was only one thing that didn't go as I
thought...SEAN!
Now, that all is finish, I'd like to write something that only few people know.
About one month before the event I was amazing that only one of the Goonies'll
go back to Astoria for the reunion. It was unbelievable for me. "What about the
other 6 guys? I'd like to know more about this question."I thought.
I read Sean Astin would have been to England at Collectormania so I decided to
go there to meet him. It has been hard because there were a lot of people and I
was the 8 hundred and something person that he met...
So I knew I hadn't enough time to speak with him. hundreds people were waiting
after me...He has been very nice!!!
After few things about me I decided don't ask a picture with him( I stayed more
time that I could) but I asked about Astoria:
"Why don't you go to Astoria?"
And He surprised me: "There has been some discussion about it. I want to come
but I'd like to receive a formal invitation from whoever organize the event and
than we need to work the logistics. My heat will be at Astoria when my body
isn't there if anybody contact me.(this last sentence was not very easy to
understand for me but less or more he said this)
...They know how contact me." Than he said me the name of the person who we had
to contact to have him at Astoria."If he wants me to come, I'll come!" Said
Sean.
Me: "thank you very much Sean. I'll wait for you. I'll go to Astoria."
Sean:"I'll hope to meet you"
I made a movie about this meeting. And It was a great idea because when I went
back home I watched again the last things about the person that the organization
have to contact. that I didn't understand well. After that I wrote 2 mails: one
to Andy and one to Astoria. So Regina wrote me that she sent a letter to all the
cast agencies but she has heard back from Mr. Donner (can't attend) and Jeff
Cohen.
However maybe Sean's Agent receive a lot of letters so...you know...maybe he'll
not read all...
She also said that they'll try to follow the way that Sean told me...
And few days before the news was official, I knew Sean would have been at
Astoria on Saturday. I said that to my friend Dario only when we were on the
street to the airport because I would have to be sure it was a certain news!
At the end Sean was at Astoria and we were there but...we couldn't meet him . It
has been very sad for us...
After I had a great news from Elizabeth, a girl who were at the Astoria meeting.
She made me very happy when she wrote that Sean Astin went out of his way to
thank you several times throughout this appearances.
Thank you Elizabeth and...thank you Sean!!! However next time I'd like to do a
nice picture with you...and not from the back!!!
