POSTE: 90,3 MLN UTILE NETTO CONSOLIDATO IN 2003
 
Roma, 4 mag. (Adnkronos) - E' a quota 90,3 mln di euro l'utile netto consolidato di Poste Italiane nel 2003, in forte miglioramento rispetto ai 21,6 mln di euro dell'esercizio 2002. In forte crescita anche il mol, a 1.175 mln (+46%) mentre i ricavi da mercato segnano un +6,1% a quota 7.444 mln. Sono alcuni dei risultati del progetto di bilancio al 31 dicembre 2003 approvato dal Cda di Poste Italiane Spa che sara' sottoposto all'assemblea degli azionisti dell'11 giugno.

Poste Italiane Quadruples Net Profits in 2003

Poste Italiane, the Italian Mail company, quadrupled their net profits in 2003. The credit balance approved by the board of directors reached 90.3 billion euro, against 21.6 billion in 2002. Revenues also grew, reaching 8.150 billion, a 5.1% improvement against 2002’s 7.756 billion. Market gains reached 7.444 billions, with a 6.1%. The consolidated gross operational margin reached 1.175 billions, a 46% increase. Operational results reached 78.2%, with a 438 million net credit after covering a 530-million-worth of amortization with reserve assets equal to 208 million. The account balance for the extraordinary financial management registered a 105 million loss, resulting from 187 million worth of financial burden and 82-million-worth of extraordinary revenues. Parent company Poste Italiane Spa registered a 55.5 million euro net profit, a 23% growth. Total proceeds grew by 4.8% to 7.739 billion. Market revenues reached 7.033 billion, a 5.9% improvement. This was due to the increase in Banco Posta revenues (+13.3%). Postal services registered a 1.5% revenue growth. The consolidated gross operational margin reached 1.093 billion, a 47% improvement on 2002.
