Hello!

I'm Antimo Buonocore, post-doctoral researcher in Cognitive neuroscience of vision at Trieste University, Department of Psychology. I also collaborate with Dr Rob McIntosh at the University of Edinburgh.

I am interested in the relationships between eye movements, arm movements and shifts of visual attention. My research is focused on how distracting visual events interfere with these different sorts of orienting responses. Comparing the effects of distractors across different types of response provides a window into their functional relationships.
