Benvenuto

FoxTool è un programma freeware (leggere la Licenza) di Raphael Fetzer, creato per essere utilizzato con Foxmail. È in grado di riformattare Subject e Body delle nuove eMail e correggere qualche fastidioso bug; funziona su Windows 9x e Windows 2000/XP.

Utilizzo

Per utilizzare FoxTool occorre avviarlo al posto di Foxmail; Foxmail verrà avviato automaticamente e FoxTool aspetterà nella Tray un vostro comando (mediante combinazione di tasti o dal menu contestuale) per applicare le correzioni al messaggio aperto nella finestra di Foxmail. Con il tasto destro sull'icona della Tray è possibile accedere ai vari menu di FoxTool (Opzioni comprese).

Per attivare la funzione delle firme casuali, è necessario creare un file di testo contenente le varie frasi (guardare come è fatto il file signatures.txt per capire come funziona). Ogni singola linea sarà trattata come una singola firma.
Inserire la variabile %SIGNATURE nel testo della eMail (è consigliabile farlo utilizzando un modello) e questo sarà sostituito dalla firma casuale da FoxTool. Un buon sito (in inglese e tedesco) da cui attingere frasi spiritose per le firme è: www.email-signatures.de.

Trucchi

Hint #1: È possibile annullare le modifiche nel Body fatte da FoxTool premendo due volte la combinazione di tasti Ctrl+Z.

Hint #2: Parametri di avvio FoxTool:
               -p (per specificare il percorso di Foxmail. Es: FoxTool.exe -p "D:\Foxmail-path\")
               -tray (per evitare che Foxmail venga avviato automaticamente)

Hint #3: Sostare con il mouse nei campi di FoxTool; appariranno degli aiuti ulteriori.

Hint #4: Una regex per tagliare anche i "R:" ed i "Re[n]":
               RegEx=^((([R|r][E|e]?(\[\d\])?):\s*))*
               da mettere nel file FoxTool.ini.

If you do not accept the terms and conditions of the License Agreement, you have to delete each and any copy of the Software from your computer(s).

This license agreement only applies to the software product FoxTool and not to any other product even if that product is similar to FoxTool and/or has a similar name.

Raphael Fetzer reserves the right to license the same software to other individuals or entities under a different license agreement.

No payment is required for the use of FoxTool under this license agreement.

The software is provided "as is". In no event shall Raphael Fetzer be liable for any consequential, special, incidental or indirect damages of any kind arising out of the delivery, performance or use of this software, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. While the software has been developed with great care, it is not possible to warrant that the software is error free. The software is not designed or intended to be used in any activity that may cause personal injury, death or any other severe damage or loss.

You must not attempt to reverse compile, modify or disassemble the software in whole or in part. You must not run the software under a debugger or similar tool allowing you to inspect the inner workings of the software.

You may give copies of the software to others on the strict condition that this is done by copying the original, unaltered software archives as they can be downloaded from the public areas of the web site http://www.jakewalk.de. Public areas are those that can be accessed by anybody with an ordinary Internet connection, without the use of any password or key.
